The River Quay
The River Quay is the old name for the area know today as the River Market area. It runs generally from the Broadway Bridge on the Missouri River to the Railroad Bridge(photographed above with the green lights) where River Front Park begins. The River Quay area fell out of favor in the 70's with some KC Mob explosions there that quickly scared visitors away. Recently in an atempt to reinvent the area city powers have rebranded the area as the River Market. See read more for details,
